JUDGMENT # 6 -THE JUDGMENT OF ANGELS- 1ST COR. 6:4- 8-26-08

Today we’ll continue our study to do with 7 Judgments that we find in the Bible. Today we’ll talk for a little while on the subject, {saints judging angels}.

But before we begin let me name the 7 judgments once again. I realize that I’ve named them each week, but there’s always people listening for the 1st time.

#1-{the judgment of sin,} this took place on the cross of Christ.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

#2- {self-judgment of our daily sins} after we were saved.

1 Corinthians 11:31-32 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

The other 5 judgments are after the rapture of the Church.

#3- {the judgment seat of Christ}, this is where all that are saved will be judged for our stewardship, our works after we were saved and thus rewarded accordingly.

2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

And #4-{-the judgment of Israel, Jacobs Trouble, Jer. 30:7, “name-Gen.32:28--35:10” and this has to do with the Tribulation period. The Tribulation is “Jacobs trouble”. But it will affect all the earth.

Jeremiah 30:7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it--

That is the 1/3 that is not destroyed.

-#5-{the judgment of the nations}, this takes place after Christ returns and has defeated His enemies at Armageddon, at the end of the 7 year Tribulation, “Rev.19:” but just prier of Him setting up His Kingdom, the 1000 year reign of Christ. MATT. 25:31-46

#6-the judgment of the fallen angels}- 1 Corinthians 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels?

And #7 is of coarse, {the White Throne judgment}, this is when all the lost souls are brought out of hell and judged according to their wickedness, and according to the degree of their wickedness be tormented in the lake of fire, there are not any saved people judged at this judgment, these are all lost.

Revelation 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

Listen as I read our text.

1st. Cor. 6: 3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels?

The context of our passage is to do with going before the sinful courts of the world with a suite against our Christian brothers and sisters. Paul is saying to settle our difference among each other instead of allowing sinners to decide our problem.

Because we will one day judge the world as we’re reigning with Christ and we will even have a part in judging the fallen angels.

I personally believe that this time of our judging the fallen angels will be close to the time of the "white Throne Judgment of the lost" that we read about in Rev. 20: 11-15.

Because GOD IS GETTING RID OF SIN & SINNERS, its not His will that any perish, but if lost sinners choose to reject His Son Jesus and had rather follow Satan and the sinful things of this world then He has no chose other that let them follow Satan to the pits of the damned, God can not allow sin in His presents, He gave heavens best for the worlds worst if they will only except Him.

God will get rid of all sin and Christ rejecting sinners, lets realize that when this will be taking place He will be cleaning up the sinful world along with all sinful angels.

When we hear the word "demon" it’s a reference to fallen angels, their also called "unclean spirits" in our Bible, we don’t find the word "demon" in our KJ Bible but that is what it means.

Apparently there were some of the fallen angels more wicked than others because some are kept bound and in a place where God sent them, others are still here on earth and they are under the authority of Satan, Satan let me remind us is not OMNIPRESENT like the Holy Spirit, Satan can only be at one place at a time, so he has his fallen angels, his unclean spirits, his demons out doing his dirty work.

In Rev. 9: we read about two demonic forces that will be turned loose on the earth dwellers in the Tribulation, both of these demonic forces are being held for a specific time. When you have a chance read the entire chapter, that’s Rev.9:
