Part 1

Main thought: God will reveal to his people, that which he desires to carry out

Text: "Where there is no vision, the people perish… (Proverbs 29:18, KJV)

Opening:

1. Where there is no vision, the people perish

a. Vision- 2377 chazown /khaw•zone/] revelation, i.e., a communication from God to be communicated to others, with a focus on the visual aspects of the communication, such as dreams and pictures that come to mind.

It comes from 2372, [chazah /khaw•zaw/] to see, to perceive, behold, to seer as a seer in an ecstatic state- a state of being beyond reason and self control

b. Perish- 6544- let go, let alone, get out of control, lack of restraint

The church just runs all over the place without a real sense of direction when the vision of God is not tuned in.

c. We must tune to flow to receive the vision of God

How many remember the old dial radios when you tuned the station in?

We have got to shut the natural down and to tune our spirits

2. The promise of God to Joel was 865 yrs. before that he would start to commune with his people by way of vision, dreams, and divine spiritual encounters

"And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit." (Joel 2:28-29, KJV)

3. John writes of this in1 John 2 20, 27

"But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things."

(1 John 2:20, KJV)

"But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him."

(1 John 2:27, KJV)
