I Can Only Imagine… And Then!

Have you ever found yourself daydreaming about the powerful moves of God healing the sick, opening the blind eyes and deaf ears, and raising the dead? Most importantly did the daydream include you as the vessel that God was moving through? Do you find yourself actively imagining that your hands are releasing the tangible healing anointing upon those who are sick and in need of healing?

Do you find yourself daydreaming and hoping for this to become a reality? And secondly, have you ever felt “guilty” for wanting to move in this power and glory. “I don’t want the glory to be on me”, you think. “Well I may never lay hand and see the dead raise, but God has those who are anointed enough for that”, you ponder. “There is so much more than healing, signs, and wonders”, you tell yourself, “I’ll just be a good witness with my love and my holy attitude.”

I tend to believe that many Christians are eagerly daydreaming for the day when they can also be used, but they let the dark thoughts of the enemy cloud their hope and make it void or without form.

Useless.

The enemy speaks in a veil of deception called false humility – and too many believers believe him. His lies come from damned lips and his lies damn those lips and words of whom believe him.

Satan whispers, “You’re not holy enough to move in the miracles and healing.” And because of our legalistic foundations we believe this lie. Satan whispers, “Your daydreams are not of God, your thoughts are of your own selfish and self-gratifying flesh.” And because we do not understand true humility we believe this lie.

I myself have fallen for these lies and even have “repented” for having these thoughts. I have asked God to forgive me for thinking of thoughts of me actually doing the works that he has commanded me to do! And I am not alone.

First of all, if you are a born-again Christian then you are 100% HOLY ENOUGH to not only make Heaven your home, but you are Holy enough to bring the power of Heaven down to earth now! You do not have to be HOLY enough for God to move, because it is not your holiness that moves God. It is the holiness of Jesus Christ that has redeemed you, and you are perfectly righteous in God’s eyes. Too many people believe that “God Can” but “He May Not” because we are not righteous, holy, or perfect enough. Wow. Yes, “God Can” and “God Will”, and he chose his children to do the work. That includes you!

Secondly, there are conditions to the promises of God. To many people stop short with a mere daydream, and even many of those will stop daydreaming because they feel that God is not pleased with their “daydreams” and would rather have them spend their time doing the religious activities that appear holy.

Want a secret to walking in power? Want a secret to bringing the anointing to a sick and dying world? Then not only continue to daydream, but you must learn to daydream more and more and be very specific in your dreams!

Jesus said that great signs would follow those who believe. So how can you believe what you have never thought about? How can you believe what you have never pondered upon, and mentally made a reality?

Proverbs 23:7 says: “For as he (a man) thinketh in his heart, so is he” and Matthew 12:34 says: “- for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.”

That means what a person meditates upon he will eventually speak out. If a person thinks murder, he speaks murder. If he thinks love, he speaks love. If he thinks in faith, he speaks miracles. If he thinks doubt, he speaks fear and thus destroys the ability to bring the anointing to those in need.

Stop meditating on doubt and fear, and begin meditating on the promises of God. A man’s words are an audible manifestation of his heart’s silent meditation. A man’s word causes life or death. Change your thoughts and change your life.

Change your thoughts and change the lives of all you have contact with.

Be transformed by the renewing of your mind – your thoughts!

We must draw upon our imagination, and meditate on the possibilities of God working through us. Nothing is to big to dream, yet I recommend starting with a dream that you can imagine enough to believe. Have you ever laid hands on an arthritic and see them healed? Have you ever laid hands on the blind and see the eyesight return? If not then start here. Begin using your sanctified imagination and meditate on the possibility, until it becomes a probability, until it manifest as a reality! Not only should you think about it – you should think about it over and over until it becomes your default thought pattern.
