Summary: Right is right even if everyone is against it and wrong is wrong even if everyone is for it. This lesson is seen so well in the story of the woman caught in the act of adultery. Let’s examine it together!

INTRODUCTION
Near the end of the feast of days, a woman is brought to Jesus by the ruling authorities. These authorities wanted justice. Justice at the highest cost.
She had committed a sin that required the ultimate payment, her life. An act that could only be satisfied with the offender giving his/her life in payment!
Question, where do you fit into this story, Are you the women in need of forgiveness? The self-righteous condemners or one in the crowd looking on?
The greatest lesson we learn from this story is about: Fiveness. Let’s examine what we can learn about FORGIVENESS together!
Main Division
I. It Is Not Based On Our Innocence (1-4a)
II. It Is Not Limited By The Severity Of Our Sin (4b)
III. It Does Not Overlook The Requirements Of The Law (5a)
IV. It Is The Only Thing That Stands Between Us & Death (5b)
V. Available Only Because There Is No One Qualified To Forgive (6-9)
VI. It Proves The Mission Of Our Lord (10-12)
Conclusion: He still forgives today!
