• Family: Dr. Butler is married to the former Debi C. Daughtery of Jacksonville, FL They have two children, Brian and Keri. Dr. & Mrs. Butler have three grandchildren; Wyatt Luke, Autumn Brooke and Lillie Jolene a.k.a. "Lil Jo". Oh lest I forget, "Kitty" who lives outside and "Daisy" their miniture dachshund.
• What my parents think of my sermons: That they’re great! Atleast that’s what mom says!

• Best advice given to me about preaching: Smile and keep them guessing! Never take yourself too serious or get your feelings hurt when your own kids say "Daddy you preached too long today we thought you’d never hush..."

• Hobbies: Collecting John Wayne Memorbilia, hunting (when he can hit something), practical jokes, enjoying his grandchildren, watching the Green Bay Packers play (win or loose)forbidding anyone to change the channel when COPS or UFC is on TV and of course eating Candy Corn!

• Something funny that happened while preaching: Going to the men’s room and lapel mike was on!
