Freedom From Satanic Prison

A prisoner can decide that he does not want to go out but that the prison should be refurbished and the furniture changed and painted. I am sure there is none like that reading this bulletin today.

About 18 years ago, at a prayer meeting, a woman was praying along with others. This was their prayer point:

You prison-warder of the enemy, clear out, for I must escape, in the name of Jesus.

As this woman was praying she felt a terrible sensation on her leg and she held it and started screaming. She shouted; “Jesus, set me free” several times. Suddenly, she saw a rat jump out of her leg and it ran out of the church; two others followed. She was not dreaming; she saw them with her physical eyes, live.

This was a woman who had tried all sorts of business ventures and had failed. She was in debt and had tried everything possible to get the situation changed but everything failed. She did not know that she had three prison-warders in her right leg in form of rats and they were devouring whatever she had.

Take these prayer points again:

You prison-warder of the enemy, clear out of my way, in the name of Jesus.

I must escape from any prison, in the name of Jesus.

I refuse to drink the water of shame, in the name of Jesus.

One of the weapons that God uses for His children is surprise. He is an expert at springing up with surprises for His people; although nothing surprises him. Nothing shocks Him. God does not usually give warning signals to people, before performing His work. Whatsoever happens, God never comes late.

Today, don’t tell Him how great your problem is but tell your problem how great your God is. Don’t bother about the size of your “Goliath” but declare that since the Goliath is so big, he becomes an easy target for you to hit. You have to become what God wants you to become whether the devil likes it or not.

Take that statement as a prayer:

I will become what God wants me to become, whether the devil likes it or not, in the name of Jesus.

What am I trying to put across? Your breakthrough does not start on the day it manifests. It starts the day the Lord pronounces it, The Bible says: “And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. Isaiah 40:5.

Once the mouth of the Lord has spoken, it will surely manifest. Do not accept what the devil is imposing on you, do not accept what a medical report says about your condition as being final. God has the final say on your life and situation.

Some years ago, a man went to England for medical treatment. He was diagnosed to have cancer and the doctor told him that there was no hope and that he would die in two months’ time. The man was not born again, he broke down and wept. The doctor said there was nothing that could be done, that the man should go and write his will and prepare to die. The man paid his bill of £3,000 and came back to Nigeria to prepare for death.

One day, someone brought him to MFM and he heard a sermon which changed his life. He also heard that God has the final say on any situation and knows more than the most intelligent professor of Medicine. It then occurred to this man that God could do something about his health. He prayed fervently and started to declare that “I shall not die but live and testify to the glory of God.”
