The Bible reveals that the ministry of Jesus Christ is diametrically opposed to that of the devil and his agents. While the enemy and his agents ensnare and imprison people, including Christians, Jesus sets people free from all forms of captivity.
This message is filled with the power to break satanic prison doors around your life and set you free so that you can enjoy your divine benefits in Christ fully. As you read it and pray the prayers that accompanied it with rock-like faith, God’s power to set the captives free and deliver to the uttermost will come upon you. Remember that the Bible says that the Lord is that Spirit and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. Receive your freedom now!
Isaiah 42:7: To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house.
This verse is referring to Jesus and He is going to do exactly what is written here, today, in your life.
Isaiah 14:16,17: They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
This verse is referring to satan. It shows that he has some people he has put in prison and will not release them without a fight. This why, beloved, the Bible is from Genesis to Revelation a book of warfare and violence and Jesus did not deceive anybody about it. In His normal blunt manner, He said it. A pastor can deceive you but Jesus cannot. Many people are being deceived because they do not read the Bible. They listen to what people say about it. Read the Bible yourself and you will be surprised about the information you will get from it.
Matthew 11:12: And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.
Another version of the scriptural verse says: “Forceful men lay hold of it.”
Luke 16:16: The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
This is the same idea put forth by Jesus here. It means the promise of the kingdom demands spiritual violence, forcefulness is an attitude of fixed determination that presses ahead, regardless of any form of difficulty or discouragement.
Violent people never give up; they keep on praying until something happens. Jesus Himself advocates violent prayers not picnic prayers. The devil is out to kill, steal and destroy. The Bible makes this clear to us.
God has a prison; the devil also has. The difference is that the prisoners of God are prisoners of hope. Note that age, race, sex, status, education are irrelevant to Satan. Many people die in the prison of the devil and are transferred to his mortuary which is hell fire. Some people have been in his prison from the womb.
Such people usually do not know that they are in prison and it is a pity. Some get into his prison mid-way in life; and some, towards the end of their life. It is pitiful but true, that many people who go about are walking-prisoners.
WHAT IS A PRISON?
It severely limits the liberty of a person. A person in Kirikiri prison cannot wake up one morning and ask for Corn Flakes with toast bread and sausage. Someone will politely remind him that he is in prison. Even though that is what he used to take in his house for breakfast, he can no longer have it because he is now a prisoner.
Take this prayer point aggressively:
I remove myself from any satanic prison, conscious or unconscious, in the name of Jesus.
SATANIC PRISON
Being confined to a state, situation or place and having no means or ability of getting out and escaping. It could be in form of:
1. Failure in any endeavour.
2. Bad luck.
3. Spirit wife/husband.
4. Unfriendly friends.
5. Household enemies.
6. Sicknesses/diseases.
7. Poverty.
God has done everything possible to remove His children from satanic prison but the person has the choice of coming out or remaining there.
Isaiah 61:1: The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
This verse is referring to Jesus, and anywhere he went, the prison warders recognised Him and cried out because Jesus released the prisoners: both physical and spiritual prisoners. He was physically confronted in the temple because He came to set the captives free.
A prisoner can decide that he does not want to go out but that the prison should be refurbished and the furniture changed and painted. I am sure there is none like that reading this bulletin today.
About 18 years ago, at a prayer meeting, a woman was praying along with others. This was their prayer point:
You prison-warder of the enemy, clear out, for I must escape, in the name of Jesus.
As this woman was praying she felt a terrible sensation on her leg and she held it and started screaming. She shouted; “Jesus, set me free” several times. Suddenly, she saw a rat jump out of her leg and it ran out of the church; two others followed. She was not dreaming; she saw them with her physical eyes, live.
This was a woman who had tried all sorts of business ventures and had failed. She was in debt and had tried everything possible to get the situation changed but everything failed. She did not know that she had three prison-warders in her right leg in form of rats and they were devouring whatever she had.
Take these prayer points again:
You prison-warder of the enemy, clear out of my way, in the name of Jesus.
I must escape from any prison, in the name of Jesus.
I refuse to drink the water of shame, in the name of Jesus.
One of the weapons that God uses for His children is surprise. He is an expert at springing up with surprises for His people; although nothing surprises him. Nothing shocks Him. God does not usually give warning signals to people, before performing His work. Whatsoever happens, God never comes late.
Today, don’t tell Him how great your problem is but tell your problem how great your God is. Don’t bother about the size of your “Goliath” but declare that since the Goliath is so big, he becomes an easy target for you to hit. You have to become what God wants you to become whether the devil likes it or not.
Take that statement as a prayer:
I will become what God wants me to become, whether the devil likes it or not, in the name of Jesus.
What am I trying to put across? Your breakthrough does not start on the day it manifests. It starts the day the Lord pronounces it, The Bible says: “And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it. Isaiah 40:5.
Once the mouth of the Lord has spoken, it will surely manifest. Do not accept what the devil is imposing on you, do not accept what a medical report says about your condition as being final. God has the final say on your life and situation.
Some years ago, a man went to England for medical treatment. He was diagnosed to have cancer and the doctor told him that there was no hope and that he would die in two months’ time. The man was not born again, he broke down and wept. The doctor said there was nothing that could be done, that the man should go and write his will and prepare to die. The man paid his bill of £3,000 and came back to Nigeria to prepare for death.
One day, someone brought him to MFM and he heard a sermon which changed his life. He also heard that God has the final say on any situation and knows more than the most intelligent professor of Medicine. It then occurred to this man that God could do something about his health. He prayed fervently and started to declare that “I shall not die but live and testify to the glory of God.”
He went home with a ray of hope and his life changed for the best. Two months passed, six months, then one year later, he went on summer holiday and decided to pay a visit to his doctor in England. When he entered the clinic, the doctor fainted, thinking it was a ghost that he saw.
Beloved, the enemy does not have the final say on your situation!
Pray like this:
I reverse the pronouncement of the enemy upon my life, in the name of Jesus.
I reverse the incantations of the enemy upon my life, in the name of Jesus.
It is too late to think about yesterday because it is gone forever. You have to ask and believe God for today. However, God can walk back yesteryears and put right anything that the enemy made to go wrong. When you are climbing a mountain, with God on your side, you cannot fall. If you are already on the ground, you cannot fall. You may say that you have been praying for a long time; do not give up. Do not doubt God, keep on trusting and fighting. You must fight, even if you are not willing to. It could be the day you stop fighting that the Lord will start fighting for you and if you stop, you start losing.
Numbers 12:1-4: And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman. 2And they said, Hath the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses? hath he not spoken also by us? And the LORD heard it. 3(Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.) 4And the LORD spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out.
Miriam and Aaron were supposed to be the closest people to Moses but they rose against him. Suddenly, the Lord arose on his behalf and he had to even beg God on their behalf. We serve a God of the suddenlies. Perhaps, you have been harassed and pushed about by internal and external enemies. God will suddenly arise on your behalf and fight for you.
Malachi 3:1: Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the
Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
The Apostles were dejected when Jesus left them but something happened and they became bold.
Acts 2:2: And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
When God appeared to them, things began to change. If this revelation is clear in your spirit, you will expect God to appear suddenly in your situation and the enemy will be put to flight, in the name of Jesus.
God is an expert at giving quick unexpected solutions. When the God of the suddenlies begins to operate, it will shock you, it will surprise your friends, it will confuse and amaze your enemies.
There was a man who was handicapped and he went about on a wheel chair. One day, he went to a crusade and the Lord healed him. The following day, he was in his garden cutting grass and neighbours saw him. They were amazed and they started asking questions and he told them how the Lord did it. God will appear suddenly in your own situation too today, in the name of Jesus.
Take this prayer of the Psalmist:
O God, arise suddenly for my help.
Why suddenly? What does the word suddenly mean? It means to confuse, disorientate, amaze, to paralyse the operations of the enemy.
Arise suddenly for my help, O Lord, in the name of Jesus.
One day, a brother was praying this kind of prayer on his own in his church. His pastor overheard him and rebuked him. He asked where he got such strange prayers and the brother showed him the book, Pray Your Way To Breakthroughs.
To the brother’s surprise, the pastor also began to pray from it. He heard him from behind the door. Later, this pastor began to make photocopies of the book to people who came to him with problems. Through one of the photocopies, a counsellee traced MFM Abuja and had a feel of what the Lord is doing there.
At that time, MFM was a small congregation and was despised because of the nature of our prayers. The Apostles too were only a handful when the Lord started to work in their midst. They were just 120 and when the power of the Holy Ghost descended upon them, they were referred to as drunken! Most good changes that have happened to men have been brought about by a small number of people.
When the Apostles were in the Upper Room, Mary, the mother of Jesus, was with them. She was the only woman who could have bailed Jesus out of the hands of Pilate but she kept quiet so that Jesus would fulfil His destiny. If she had cried out that Jesus was her son and not the Messiah, some people would have supported her and Pilate would have been moved to release Jesus. That would have meant no death on the cross and no salvation of mankind.
Those who fabricated the motor car persevered. It was not easy winding the car in front and jumping in to start it. People made fun of them, including medical doctors who told them that it would not work. They went on improving on it and today, we have the fast and easy means of transport. The car has revolutionised the life of human beings and it has actually become part of our normal lives.
Two brothers were fooling about with something they called aeroplane and people mocked that if God wanted man to fly, he would have created him with wings. These brothers persevered and today, we have the aeroplane - the fastest means of transport.
When you go into spiritual things, you will find out that Jesus was a revolutionary, a radical and was not following the way men did their things. Unfortunately for them, Jesus was always right in the approach He took.
To get out of any satanic prison, you have to be a revolutionary. Violent praying makes you a radical and it is possible that people will make fun of you. Continue because it works and it is biblical. It started since the time of John the Baptist.
With prayers, you can break down the unworkable. A person can speak Cambridge English whilst preaching and not make an impact; whereas, a raw villagers, charged with the fire of the Holy Ghost could speak his pidgin and make impact on the people.
You can pull down systems that are not working through prayers and replace them with working systems. With prayers, you break down the unprofitable and contrary systems and replace them with profitable systems.
A good reader of the Bible will notice that the Psalm-writer prayed revolutionary prayers which no one else in the Bible prayed. These prayers were not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers. No one in the Bible ever prayed for the lightening of God to come down or for the ground to open up and swallow the enemies. No one ever prayed division and confusion into the camp of the enemies or that their way should be slippery and dark and that angels should pursue them. He prayed about smiting the cheek bone. If the enemy is smitten upon the cheek bones, he will not be able to chant incantations and curses against others. The words of evil coming out will die still-born.
Please pray the prayer at the end of this message with life in your voice. A song writer says: “If Jesus had to pray, what about me?”
Jesus the man of Nazareth, who is the devil or demon that can withstand Him?
When He prayed in the garden of Gethsemane, the Bible records that the sweat from his body were like drops of blood. Elijah put his head between his knees to pray - it was not easy. The Bible says, “The God whom ye seek, shall suddenly appear in His temple.”
If you are ready for divine surprises, pray these prayers with aggression and see how things will work out. You may have been in your present situation for years, when you pray these prayers, the bull-dozing power of the Holy Ghost will destroy every work of the enemy in and around your life.
ONE THING YOU MUST DO
However beloved, if you have not yet surrendered your life to the Lord Jesus Christ, I would like you to do so now. You are a prisoner to the devil if you do not belong to the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible says: “The soul that sinneth shall die” and the “Wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life”
It is only in the Lord Jesus Christ that you can have eternal life. He is the way, the truth and the life. Nobody cometh unto the Lord God, except through Jesus. Confess your sins to Him right there where you are, and ask Him to forgive you and cleanse you with His precious blood that was shed on the cross at Calvary for the redemption of your life. Renounce the devil and the world and promise that you will never go back to them again. Ask the Lord to come into your life, take control of it and be your personal Lord and Saviour.
Beloved, I thank the Lord for this decision that you have just taken. I pray that it shall be permanent in your life and the Lord will uphold you with His hand of righteousness and you will be his forever. Amen. Take these prayers with aggression and determination.

4. Angels of the living God, pursue my pursuers with thunder, lightening and brimstone, in the name of Jesus.
5. Let the spirit of blindness come upon all unprofitable observers of my life, marriage and work, in the name of Jesus.
6. I dash to pieces, every weapon of the enemy, in the name of Jesus.
7. I break every satanic mirror used against my life, in the name of Jesus.
8. Thou power of God, deliver me from satanic prison in the name of Jesus.
9. Thou creative power of God, work in my life today, in the name of Jesus.
10. The anointing of all- round liberty fall upon me now, in the name of Jesus.
11. Every environmental power harassing my destiny die, in the name of Jesus.
12. I destroy the habitation of witchcraft in my life, in Jesus’ name.
13. Blood of Jesus, deliver my life from bewitchment, in the name of Jesus.
14. Forces of frustration and failure tormenting my life, die, in the name of Jesus.
15. Forces of demotion and shame tormenting my destiny, die, in the name of Jesus.
16. O Lord, deliver me from the evil of this generation, in the name of Jesus.
17. Thou right hand of the Most High God, do valiantly in my life today, in the name of Jesus.
18. Blood of Jesus, speak destruction to the works of the devil in my life, in the name of Jesus.
19. My father, make me Your object of divine love for ever, in the name of Jesus
20. The glory of the Lord will never depart from my life and my family, in Jesus’ name.
