Expand Your Destiny

It is so important to have a home base and that you have a local church that you are accountable to. When we run from church to church, nothing is being built and therefore there is nothing that God can bless or expand.

As a Senior Pastor, I have observed how Christians come to church and begin to settle. The children grow in the Sunday school and the older children build relationships with the youth. At some time or another, an offence may come and the parents will uproot the entire family and stunt their spiritual growth.

I was in the same Full Gospel Church from birth until the age of 24. My parents could have used many excuses to leave the church and join another church. I am so grateful that they did not. I asked my dad one day why he never considered changing churches. He told me that his biggest fear was that his children would backslide and be lost forever.

You are never going to find a better church because all churches have the same problems. Find a Word-based, Spirit-filled church and serve that church. God will expand your faithfulness and in time He will show you what He has built for you in the Spirit and you will be surprised. Those that trust in the Lord will never be ashamed. Remember, God cannot expand anything that has no roots.

2. Connect with the anointing

You need to connect with the anointing. In other words, when you connect with people, their success becomes your success. When you connect with the anointing, you connect with God.

God took 120 faithful people on the Day of Pentecost and expanded the anointing on their lives. What started in Jerusalem was expanded to the ends of the earth.

Acts 1:8 - But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.

The anointing on your life is not only a local anointing, but it is for the ends of the earth. Make sure you associate with people who are anointed so that their success can rub off onto your life.

3. Cooperate with the process

There is a process that God has for you to fulfill your purpose, but you need to cooperate with God because He has placed a seed of success inside of you. It is a seed of greatness that can only grow if you cooperate with the Holy Spirit and sometimes that process can be painful.

So many people give up because of this and choose the easy way out. They want to be blessed but do not want to endure the painful process to maturity.

Remember, the Holy Spirit is your Helper and He will help you through your journey of growth.

God will not do everything on His own. He will only do the things that you cannot do. God will do the impossible but He wants you to do the possible. The first thing that you can do is to make yourself available and then allow God to expand that which you have made available. God cannot bless nothing.

Fall in love with your life’s purpose and your destiny. When you discover who you are in God, you will not have to be pushed to go to work, or to do those things that need to be done.
