Cultivating A Disciplined Prayer Life Series
Contributed by Kamalanathan Francis on Jan 20, 2021 (message contributor)
Summary: Each day has its own challenges, it is the strength that we received during prayer time with the Lord that helps us to have a victorious life.
No good habits are developed in a night. Habits whether good or bad become the character when we consistently practice day in and day out. For any successful life, journeys are inevitable and they are mostly tedious. Sometimes we need supernatural strength to accomplish better heights. That strength we get from consistent prayer life. God is the source of all strength and his provisions never run out of stock. The outflow of living water wells up within us like spring (John 4/7:38) We will never feel thirsty or tired for God provides the necessary strength, guidance, correction, and protection to complete our journey.
Yet another important reason to love prayer time is that only God can fix things that we have messed up. Only God can accept anyone irrespective of what sinful life they have lived. As said in Psalm 85: 1-9, he shows favor on the sinful soul and restores what has been taken away.
