Contributed by James Bohrer on Jan 14, 2009 (message contributor)
Summary: A sermon about the necessity of Christ’s humanity for our salvation.
I. HIS HUMANITY IS NECCESARY FOR PRACTICAL REASONS.
A. HE BECAME YOUR SUBSTITUTE.
B. ONLY HIS OFFERING COULD BE SUFFICIENT FOR ALL OUR SINS.
(1 COR. 1:22-24)
C. ONLY BY HIS POWER COULD HE SECURE YOUR PLACE IN HEAVEN.
II. HIS HUMANITY IS NECCESARY FOR PERSONAL REASONS.
A. HE SUFFERED JUST LIKE YOU.
B. BECAUSE HE EXPERIENCED LIFE JUST LIKE YOU, HE CAN TRULY
SYMPATHIZE.
III. WHEN YOU KNOW HIM YOUR PRIORITIES MUST CHANGE.
A. YOU CANNOT LIVE SEPARATELY FROM CHRIST AND HOLD IT
TOGETHER.
B. YOU CAN’T PUT HIM SECOND AND BE COMFORTABLE.
