Jer. 5: 25 - 31---- 6: 9-19 BACK TO THE OLD PATH 6-16-12
In the message today we find Gods people Israel have become unconcerned and disobedient as to what God say's and wants His people to do, they are sick from their head to the foot, and the so called prophets and priest were nothing more than racketeers, they were nothing more than a bunch of ear ticklers saying what ever made the people happy, they were becoming rich as the people were becoming poorer by the day, financially as well as spiritually.
It didn't seem to matter that God was fed up with the whole crowd, and was going to send havoc on the congregation of Israel.

Jer. 5: 25 -31 Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you.
26For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that setteth snares; they set a trap, they catch men.
27As a cage is full of birds, so are their houses full of deceit: therefore they are become great, and waxen rich.
28They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass *(over look) the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge. * (refuse to help the poor get the justice they deserve.)
29Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
30A wonderful *(astonishment) and horrible thing is committed in the land; 31 The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; *(what pleases them) and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

>> It seems that much of our citizens today "love to have it so" many like what this corrupt government does today, their getting all kind of government hand outs; they don't want it to change.

And also today here in our country we see many false prophets on TV, I think of one right away, the thrust of his so called message is made up of convincing the listeners and viewers to "sow a seed" that is, if they'll send him money and have faith, God will increase what they have sown by much more.
I have listened to him from time to time as I'm going through the channels with my blessed flipper, and it's always the same, it's hard to understand how people can be so gullible but they are or he'd do some thing else, and as long as people will keep sending him money he'll continue to do it, most folks that do such as this are not very well grounded in Gods word. But there is coming a day these spiritual racketeers will pay.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall throughly glean the remnant of Israel as a vine: turn back thine hand as a grape gatherer into the baskets.
>> The false prophets and liberal preachers that are among us today will continue to drain the listeners dry, (shall thoroughly glean) the devil has his so called preachers in a multitude of pulpits across the land today preaching and reading from these watered down versions of the Bible careful not to up set his or her congregation, and these congregations have heard it so long they wouldn't have it any other way.

13For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; *(wanting more, dishonest gain) and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.
