ARE YOU SLUMBERER’S?

MATTHEW 25:1-13

Vs. 1-Then shall the Kingdom of Heaven be compared to Ten Virgins who took their lamps to meet Jesus the Bridegroom.

Virgin here symbolizes Beauty, Purity, Holiness!!

Will you be ready when He comes?

Or will you be a Slumberer??

PSALMS 121:3 says:

He that keepeth thee will not Slumber!!!

Jesus Christ loved the Church Just as He

Loved himself and You and I the Church

for that matter!

Here Its compared to as the Love a Husband

Has For his Wife..

EPHESIANS SAYS:

For no Man ever hated his own flesh, But

Nourisheth and Cherisheth it – even as

The Lord – The Church!!

For We are members of his body

Of his Flesh and of his bones!!

The Bible says:

Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to him

For the marriage of the Lamb is come and his

Wife hath made herself ready!!!

Here Christ is the Bridegroom and the church is of course THE BRIDE!!!

This is going to be the Eternal Union of the

Church with Jesus following the Rapture!!!!

JOHN THE REVELATOR SAID:

And I John saw the Holy City – New Jerusalem

Coming down from God out of Heaven – prepared

As A Bride Adorned for Her Husband!!

Vs. 2 And Five of them were wise and Five

Were Foolish!

Vs. 3 They that were foolish took their lamps

And took no oil with them.

Vs. 4 But the Wise took oil in their vessels

with their lamps.

These Virgins here are symbolizing the attendants

Of the Wedding and not as Multiple Brides and

John the Baptist is the Best Man!!

JOHN 3:29 SAYS

He that hath the Bride is the Bridegroom

But the friend of the Bridegroom – Which

Standeth and Heareth Him, rejoiceth Greatly

Because of the Bridegroom’s Voice

This my Joy therefore is fulfilled

The prepared Virgins that are spoken of here

are the People that are saved from the Great Tribulation!!!

The un-prepared Virgins are compared to as

Sinners that will be cast into Darkness

Or AKA - HELL!!!!

Christians should Profess, Believe, and be Looking

Forward to the second coming of Christ…

They should Love and be longing for it!!!

MATTHEW 13:47 SAYS

Again the Kingdom of Heaven is like unto a

Net that was cast into the sea and gathered of

Every Kind!!!

This net would be pulled between two boats and

Drawn to shore with ropes.

Then they would gather the good, and

Cast the Bad to the side to be Burned!!!!

THE BIBLE SAYS

The servants went out – and gathered together

Both Bad and Good – and the wedding was

Furnished with guests!!!

Those in the highways are the Gentiles and

The bad and good are the moral and immoral

Sinners who all need the Love and Graciousness

From God’s Invitation..

Vs. 5 While the Bridegroom tarried they all slumbered and slept!!

Therefore let us not sleep as others do,

But let us watch and be sober

The Bridegroom tarried and He didn’t come

As soon as they expected

Vs. 6 - Then at midnight there was a cry made

Behold the Bridegroom cometh,

Go ye out to meet him!!

Listen children I’m gonna be watchin for the

Bridegroom Ain’t You???

When the cry is made I will go out to meet him!!

MATTHEW SAYS:

And He shall send his angels with a Great

Sound of a Trumpet, and they shall gather

Together his elect from the four winds

From one end of Heaven to the other

Children this means from the North the South

The East and the West!!!!

These Angels are the Judgment Agents

The Elect are the Saved who have come to

Faith in Christ by the Grace of God and are

Gladly Anticipating The Lord’s Return!!

When We see the Day Approaching which is now

I’m afraid Its approaching much faster than we can possibly imagine.

We must be Ready and Be Serious about it and

Continuously Renewing our Repentance of Sin!!

Vs. 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed

Their Lamps.

Vs. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise

Give us of your oil, for our lamps have gone out!!

Christians We are the Children of Light!!!!!

Hypocrites are the Foolish ones!!!

They have no Prospective of what’s coming!!!!

Obviously these lamps are compared to souls,

Which are either prepared to go, or not prepared!

Don’t you want to be prepared tonight??

And hear the Lord Say

Well done thou good and faithful servant

LUKE CHAP 12 says

Let your loins be girded about

And your Lights Burning!!

Children this is Jesus telling us to constantly be

Ready and Alert for the Approaching Soon Judgment Day!!!!

Its coming and it can’t be much longer
