ARE YOU SLUMBERER’S?
MATTHEW 25:1-13
Vs. 1-Then shall the Kingdom of Heaven be compared to Ten Virgins who took their lamps to meet Jesus the Bridegroom.
Virgin here symbolizes Beauty, Purity, Holiness!!
Will you be ready when He comes?
Or will you be a Slumberer??
PSALMS 121:3 says:
He that keepeth thee will not Slumber!!!
Jesus Christ loved the Church Just as He
Loved himself and You and I the Church
for that matter!
Here Its compared to as the Love a Husband
Has For his Wife..
EPHESIANS SAYS:
For no Man ever hated his own flesh, But
Nourisheth and Cherisheth it – even as
The Lord – The Church!!
For We are members of his body
Of his Flesh and of his bones!!
The Bible says:
Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to him
For the marriage of the Lamb is come and his
Wife hath made herself ready!!!
Here Christ is the Bridegroom and the church is of course THE BRIDE!!!
This is going to be the Eternal Union of the
Church with Jesus following the Rapture!!!!
JOHN THE REVELATOR SAID:
And I John saw the Holy City – New Jerusalem
Coming down from God out of Heaven – prepared
As A Bride Adorned for Her Husband!!
Vs. 2 And Five of them were wise and Five
Were Foolish!
Vs. 3 They that were foolish took their lamps
And took no oil with them.
Vs. 4 But the Wise took oil in their vessels
with their lamps.
These Virgins here are symbolizing the attendants
Of the Wedding and not as Multiple Brides and
John the Baptist is the Best Man!!
JOHN 3:29 SAYS
He that hath the Bride is the Bridegroom
But the friend of the Bridegroom – Which
Standeth and Heareth Him, rejoiceth Greatly
Because of the Bridegroom’s Voice
This my Joy therefore is fulfilled
The prepared Virgins that are spoken of here
are the People that are saved from the Great Tribulation!!!
The un-prepared Virgins are compared to as
Sinners that will be cast into Darkness
Or AKA - HELL!!!!
Christians should Profess, Believe, and be Looking
Forward to the second coming of Christ…
They should Love and be longing for it!!!
MATTHEW 13:47 SAYS
Again the Kingdom of Heaven is like unto a
Net that was cast into the sea and gathered of
Every Kind!!!
This net would be pulled between two boats and
Drawn to shore with ropes.
Then they would gather the good, and
Cast the Bad to the side to be Burned!!!!
THE BIBLE SAYS
The servants went out – and gathered together
Both Bad and Good – and the wedding was
Furnished with guests!!!
Those in the highways are the Gentiles and
The bad and good are the moral and immoral
Sinners who all need the Love and Graciousness
From God’s Invitation..
Vs. 5 While the Bridegroom tarried they all slumbered and slept!!
Therefore let us not sleep as others do,
But let us watch and be sober
The Bridegroom tarried and He didn’t come
As soon as they expected
Vs. 6 - Then at midnight there was a cry made
Behold the Bridegroom cometh,
Go ye out to meet him!!
Listen children I’m gonna be watchin for the
Bridegroom Ain’t You???
When the cry is made I will go out to meet him!!
MATTHEW SAYS:
And He shall send his angels with a Great
Sound of a Trumpet, and they shall gather
Together his elect from the four winds
From one end of Heaven to the other
Children this means from the North the South
The East and the West!!!!
These Angels are the Judgment Agents
The Elect are the Saved who have come to
Faith in Christ by the Grace of God and are
Gladly Anticipating The Lord’s Return!!
When We see the Day Approaching which is now
I’m afraid Its approaching much faster than we can possibly imagine.
We must be Ready and Be Serious about it and
Continuously Renewing our Repentance of Sin!!
Vs. 7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed
Their Lamps.
Vs. 8 And the foolish said unto the wise
Give us of your oil, for our lamps have gone out!!
Christians We are the Children of Light!!!!!
Hypocrites are the Foolish ones!!!
They have no Prospective of what’s coming!!!!
Obviously these lamps are compared to souls,
Which are either prepared to go, or not prepared!
Don’t you want to be prepared tonight??
And hear the Lord Say
Well done thou good and faithful servant
LUKE CHAP 12 says
Let your loins be girded about
And your Lights Burning!!
Children this is Jesus telling us to constantly be
Ready and Alert for the Approaching Soon Judgment Day!!!!
Its coming and it can’t be much longer
Everybody says I’ve heard the Preachers
Preaching this for Years and Years!!!
Well Folks The Bible is being fulfilled right
Before our very eyes –
I’m thinking that
The only thing left to be fulfilled is the Rapture!!!
CHILDREN LISTEN
You Gotta Keep your lamps trimmed and full of Oil
The book of Isaiah says
When the land is darkened – that No Man
Shall spare His Brother!!!
There is gonna be Wrath – Judgment – Darkness
Suffering – Gloominess – Indignation – and Sorrow!!
And its coming and we can’t do anything about it!!
Vs. 9 But the wise answered saying not so!
Lest there be not enough for Us and You!
They ain’t gonna give up their oil ARE YOU??
I ain’t giving up my Oil – ABSOLUTELY NOT!!
I just barely got enough for myself!!!!!!!
Vs. 9 But Go ye rather to them that sell
And buy for yourselves.
This Distress of the Foolish Virgins is a perfect example of the misery of being a HYPOCRITE!!!
But the real Misery will be on the other side
Of this Life
THE JUDGEMENT!!!!!
You can’t find Salvation at Wal-mart or The
Grocery store or at Dollar General
You have to Go Where they Got IT!!!
You gotta go TO THE HOUSE
OF GOD!!!!!
GOD HAS ALL THE OIL YOU COULD POSSIBLY NEED – ALL YOU GOTTA DO
IS JUST ASK FOR IT!!!!!!
Vs. 10 And while they went to buy, the
Bridegroom came – And they that were ready
Went in with Him to the Marriage
AND THE DOOR WAS SHUT!!!!!
Don’t wait to long and find out the door is shut!!
MATTHEW SAYS
Not everyone that saith unto Me LORD LORD,
Shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven
But he that doeth the will of My Father
WHICH IS IN HEAVEN
People that profess to be Christians
ARE NOT ALWAYS CHRISTIANS!!!
Even if you have an outward verbal acknowledgment of God,
It’s still not enough to save you!!!
Unless you have truly repented and
have Faith in The Lord Jesus Christ!!!!
A truly saved soul is one that doeth the will
Of His Father!!!!!
Vs. 11 Afterward came also the other Virgins,
Saying LORD, LORD OPEN TO US!!!
BUT IT WAS TO LATE!!!!!
They wasn’t prepared and ready and the
Door was already closed!!
They will Experience the WRATH OF GOD
Because they weren’t prepared!!
EZEKIEL SAYS:
THEY SHALL CAST THEIR SILVER IN THE
Streets; and their Gold shall be removed,
Their Silver and their Gold shall not be able
To Deliver them in the Day of the Wrath
Of the Lord!!!
They shall not satisfy their soul neither fill
Their Bowels because it is the
STUMBLING BLOCK OF THEIR INIQUITY!!
Destruction will come and they will seek peace
And there will be none, and the Lord will say
I NEVER KNEW YOU
DEPART FROM ME
YE THAT WORK INIQUITY!!!
TURN WITH ME TO
LUKE 13:25-30
When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without ,
And to knock at the door saying LORD LORD,
Open unto us and he shall answer and say unto
You - I know you not whence ye are
THEN shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and
Drunk in thy presence and thou hast taught in
Our streets.
BUT he shall say I tell you I know you not
Whence ye are - depart from me all ye workers
Of iniquity!!
THERE shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth
When ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob,
And all the prophets in the Kingdom of God.
And you yourselves thrust out.
AND they shall come from the East and from the
West and from the North and from the South
And shall sit down in the kingdom of God;
AND behold there are last which shall be first,
and there are first which shall be last.
Church this is all so TRUE!!!!!
The Bible says;
And why call ye me LORD LORD, and
Do not the things which I Say???
If We can’t stand on Gods word, and live
By Gods Word,
Then we will face Desolation and Indignation!!
And there will be no respect of persons.
The face of the Elderly will be no exception!!!!
Psalm chap 5 says:
The foolish shall not stand in thy sight
Thou hatest all workers of Iniquity
Remember the Gate is Strait and
Few find IT!!!
Vs. 12 But He answered and said
Verily I say unto you I know you NOT!!!
Vs. 13 Watch therefore, for ye know neither
The day nor the hour wherein the
SON OF MAN COMETH!!!
We have to be prepared for what could happen
At any second!!!
We have to let the Spirit lead us;
And Pray that we will not be led by our
Fleshly motives.
When we hear the truth----
ARE WE RUNNING FROM IT??
OR DO WE LISTEN TO IT???
If We’re running from the Truth then we better be
Searching our souls for the Problem!!!!!
If the Preacher steps on your toes then
That should automatically throw up a flag for you!!!
Every time I listen to a sermon from a preacher
I get my toes stepped on!!!!!
If your toes don’t get stepped on
Then you must not be listening!!!!!
Sin is Folly and has no principal within our Hearts
TRUE RELIGION IS TRUE WISDOM!!!
When we realize the problem and if we
Search and pray – God will reveal the problem to us!
AND Then there is where we sill see our Spiritual life, Begin to do a complete Turn Around!
And your Turn Around is not gonna happen overnight!!!!!!
Look at me for Example
I used to Drink
I used to Smoke
I had An Earring
I had Long Hair
I had a Beard
God just continuously convicts you about them –
One or more things At a Time!!!!!
Listen to Words of Jesus in Mark 14
Watch ye therefore for ye know not when the
Master of the house cometh, At Even, or At Midnight, or at the Cock-crowing, or in the
Morning.
Lest coming suddenly He find you sleeping
And what I say unto you
I say unto all WATCH!!!!
CHURCH THIS IS RIGHT NOW!!!!
Children of God Don’t be Slumbering or Sleeping
Watch and attend to the Business of your SOUL!!
Christians are the Wise Virgins
Their Hearts are right and ready,
And they have Principle within!!!!
God would’ve given the foolish Virgins all the Oil
They needed, If only they would’ve asked Him for it!!!!
We all have to borrow from Jesus Christ!
And We ain’t gonna have any to lend!!!!
Be ready Church cause the time is Un-certain
Be Ready Always Everyday and Every hour
And be in Fear of the Coming of the Lord
Everyday and All Day!!!!!
You have to stand before God for yourself!!!!!
And I have to stand before God for myself!!!!
We can’t stand there for anyone else!!!!!
He is coming Church,
He is coming for You and For Me!!!!
