WHAT MANY PRESUME: If the religious leaders are saying it, it must be from God.

WHAT DOES THEIR FALSE PROPHECY LOOK LIKE?

1. It’s out of their imagination.

- Ezekiel 13:2, 17-18.

2. They follow their own spirit.

- Ezekiel 13:3.

3. They believe what they’re selling.

- Ezekiel 13:6.

4. It’s good rhetoric with no positive practical results.

- Ezekiel 13:10.

WHAT ARE THE PRACTICAL CONSEQUENCES OF THE FALSE PROPHETS?

1. Their legacy is destroyed.

- Ezekiel 13:9.

2. Their “house” is destroyed.

- Ezekiel 13:11.

3. They are mocked.

- Ezekiel 13:12.

4. There is injustice.

- Ezekiel 13:19.

5. They dishearten the righteous.

- Ezekiel 13:21.

6. They encourage the wicked.

- Ezekiel 13:21.

WILL GOD KEEP QUIET TO AVOID BAD P.R.? Just because it has a veneer of God on it doesn’t mean that God won’t tear it down.
