1ST.COR.15: 16-28 JESUS TURNS ALL BACK TOO THE FATHER 11-23-13

~When Jesus has accomplished all the work that God sent Him to do, He will at that time return everything back to God the Father as it was in the beginning, "that God can be all in all."

~ There are folks that think that the only reason God sent His Son into the world was to die in sinful man's place there on the cross, and that certainly was a most important part of what Jesus accomplished.

* But Adam & Eve failed too carry out Gods command that we find in;

>Gen.1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: (bring into subjection)

Adams fall brought much heartache and all kinds of problems into the human race.

The first Adam, because of sin, was unable to fulfill this directive. The "last Adam", because of his perfect sinlessness, is and will be able to subdue all creation to its intended purpose, to bring glory too God.

>Num.14:21 But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.

* THE LAST ENEMY TO BE DESTROYED IS DEATH:

This is the goal to which all of Christ's work is pointed. The last enemy to be completely destroyed under the heel of the conquering King will be death, the serpent's "offspring"

>James 1:13-15 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

14But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

15Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

"Death" at the end of a slow process of decay, has been a part of man's nature since Eden, its plain to see as we look in the mirror, our bodies are slowly deteriorating that is, we can plainly see that we're not young as we once were.

~But now, through Christ, death will finally be destroyed -- not just offset or neutralized, but altogether done away with.

~ So its true, Jesus did come to pay our sin debt, but as His 1000 year reign comes to a close all the other evil things Satan has cause will have been defeated, Satan will be cast into the lake of fire, death and hell will be destroyed, and when all the enemies of man has been taken care of, then Jesus will return to God all rule and authority as it was before sin came into the picture.

~LISTEN; Paul had more trouble out of the Corinthian believers than any other church, he wrote at least 3 epistle to them we're know of.

1st. cor.--2nd cor. And another one is mentioned in;

1st.cor. 5:9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:

~We're not told every thing Paul said in that particular letter.

~ The Corinthians believers believed that Jesus rose from the dead but many didn't believe in the resurrection of dead believers, so Paul explains it to them, we'll start with verse 16

>1st. Cor.15:

16For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: 17And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. 18Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. 19If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

20But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

If Jesus is the firstfruits of our resurrection, does that mean He was the first one raised from the dead?

No, we have the record of the widow's son in the days of Elijah (1 Kings 17:17-24) and Lazarus (John 11:38-44) and Eutychus (Acts 20:7-12), among others.

Each of these was resuscitated from death, but none of them were resurrected.

Each of them was raised in the same body they died in, and were raised from the dead to eventually die again. Resurrection isn't just living again; it is living again in a new body that will be perfectly suited for life in eternity, we'll recognize each other, as our bodily features will be evident.

Our resurrected glorified body will be similar too Jesus glorified body; He could walk through the walls as the doors were closed.

>John 20:19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst,--

>1 John 2: 2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
