    Titus is one of three epistles of Paul referred to as pastoral epistles. While these were written to young pastors that Paul desired to equip for ministry, there is much wisdom that is applicable for every believer.     Having shared much in regard to establishing a firm foundation for the church, Paul emphasized the priority of the church - sharing the Gospel, above all else. Grace brings salvation, and then enables us to live for Christ. Transformed lives are the goal of the church.

    The letter to Titus, although written to the young pastor, has much to say to the church and individual believers. Following our transformation in Christ, we have an obligation to live in a way that pleases Him and reveals His grace before others.

    Paul left some final instructions for Titus regarding the church and his commitment to them and the Gospel. We need to embrace and practice these principles in our day in order to maintain doctrinal purity and bear an effective Christian witness.
