Ephesians was written to a church who were living like paupers when they possessed everything. The reason for their poverty, was that they didn’t understand who they were.

Who wants to be rich? Rather, who doesn’t want to be rich! Each person of the Godhead has deposited infinite wealth into your spiritual bank account.

Prayer is the doorway to a deeper relationship with God. Paul’s prayer here is a model of digging deeper towards intimacy with God.
