1. The Man Who Thought His Prayer Was Not Answered

Zechariah prayed, and thought his prayer was not answered. God, however, not only heard his prayer, but answered in a way he could never have imagined.

2. The First Person To Doubt The Virgin Birth

The Christmas story begins well before the birth of the Son of God. At the least, it begins with a startled teenage girl who is confronted by an angel with an unexpected announcement.

3. The First Person To Worship Jesus

Though the Master was worshipped by angels, the unborn John was the first person to worship the Saviour, and his mother, Elizabeth, was the first to lend her voice to praise the Saviour.

4. The First Person To Die In The Faith

Simeon is easily overlooked in the account of Christ’s birth. This should not be, as he was the first person to die in the Faith.
