1. In Isaiah 14:12, he is named Lucifer and called the son of the morning
2. In 2 Corinthians 11:14 & 15, it is said that he transforms himself into the likeness of an angel of light
3. The god of this world who blinds men’s minds (2 Corinthians 4:4)
4. The prince of this world (John 12:31)
5. The prince of the power of the air (Ephesians 2:2)
6. The deceiver of the world (2 Corinthians 11:3)
7. The tempter (Matthew 4:3)
8. The evil one (Matthew 6:13)
9. The father of lies (John 8:44)
10. A murder (John 8:44)
11. Beelzebub (Matthew 12:24)
a. This was a special god of the Ekronites; literally Baal Zebub
i. Baal is the familiar god against which Elijah fought
ii. Zebub means a fly, like a house fly; but, of the stinging kind
iii. Perhaps, the lord of the flies
12. Belial (2 Corinthians 6:15)
a. Belial means worthless
13. Abaddon (Revelation 9:11)
a. Which means destroying angel
14. Apollyon (Revelation 9:11)
a. Which means distroyer also
15. He is called a lying spirit (1 Kings 22:22)
16. He is called the power of darkness (Colossians 1:13)
17. He is called the prince of devils (Matthew 12:24)
18. He is called the ruler of the darkness of this world (Ephesians 6:12)
19. He is called the spirit of disobediance (Ephesians 2:2)
20. He is called the unclean spirit (Matthew 12:43)
21. He is called the wicked one (Matthew 13:19)
22. In Luke 22:3 he was the spirit of betrayal
23. In 1 Peter 5:8 he is called our advesary and is likened to a roaring lion seeking to devour whom he may
