PROFUNDIZAR EN LA TIERRA
Una familia se encuentra de vacaciones fuera en el lago un verano. Papá había sido puttering cabo por la casa del barco . Dos de sus hijos , un niño de 12 años y un niño de 3 años de edad estaban jugando a lo largo del muelle. Se suponía que el de 12 años de estar viendo a su hermano pequeño , pero se distrajo . El niño de 3 años , el pequeño Billy , pensó que sería un buen momento para revisar la brillante barco de pesca de aluminio atado en el extremo del muelle. Así que se fue al muelle y puso un pie en el barco, y un pie en el muelle. Perdió el equilibrio y cayó al agua , que estaba a unos 5 o 6 pies de profundidad .
El chapoteo alertó al 12 - años de edad que dejó escapar un grito desgarrador . Papá vino corriendo de la casa barco, saltó al agua , nadó hacia abajo, pero no pudo ver nada, salió a tomar aire . Enfermo por el pánico , se fue derecho hacia abajo en el agua turbia , y comenzó a sentir en todas partes alrededor de la parte inferior . No podía sentir nada. Por último , en su camino hacia arriba , sintió los brazos del pequeño Billy encerrados en un abrazo de la muerte de uno de los postes del muelle, cerca de 4 pies bajo el agua . Curioso los dedos del muchacho suelta , irrumpieron juntos a través de la superficie para llenar sus pulmones con el aire vivificante .
Finalmente, cuando la adrenalina se había detenido en alza, y los nervios se había calmado un poco, el padre preguntó a su hijo: " ¿Qué diablos estabas haciendo ahí abajo colgando en el poste hasta el momento bajo el agua? Y la respuesta del pequeño Billy era un clásico, mezclado con la sabiduría sólo un niño podía dar. Él dijo: "Yo estaba esperando que papá. Sólo esperando por ti."
Amigos, hoy celebramos que hace 2000 años , el Dios del universo salió de la gloria y el esplendor de los cielos , un lugar donde no había dolor ni enfermedad, ni accidentes , ni dolor, ni muerte .
Y se sumergió en este mundo turbio oscuro en una misión de rescate , un misión de rescate para todos los que se están ahogando , una misión de rescate para todos los que están apenas puede mantener , una misión de rescate para todos los que están perdidos en la oscuridad.
