A baseball coach would play a trick on the new freshman players. After practice, he would tell one of the new players to turn out the dugout lights. The problem was it was daylight and there were no lights in the dugout. But the player would spend some time trying to find the switch.
Sometimes we think we see things clearly, but the lights are not on.
