Paul wants Timothy to confront some of the elders and leaders of the church who’ve deviated from the truth, Paul uses the language of a fight, of conflict and war, to describe the struggle that Timothy is engaged in

Paul tells us how we should conduct ourselves when we come together to worship. He speaks separately to men and women. The issues are different for men and women
In 2:3&4 Paul says: “This is right and is acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” He reminds us that there is only one God and only one mediator between God and humanity, Jesus Christ. So he first asks us ...read more

Leadership is no small thing, it’s not to be entered into lightly. But to be a leader is to desire a noble thing. Paul describes he qualifications of Christian leaders.

re you working on your own personal spiritual walk with God? Are you training yourself to be more loving, more joyful, more peaceable, more patient, to show more compassion, more humility, to be more self-controlled, more content?

Shepherding the flock involves dealing appropriately with elders, women, widows, young men, Not harshly but with love.
