I have been in this business for 51 years, during which time a lot of prominent, gifted leaders have crashed and burned.

I think of one in a major southern city who had a large work, a creative ministry in the arts that was widely known. Women in his church sued him and his staff for seducing them by saying those women had a special dispensation from God to provide sexual favors for selected staff members, and that God would not treat that as sin.

I think of another prominent pastor with a large work in another major southern city, who seduced the wife of a fellow pastor who had been sent to him for counseling. God is serious about sin.
