Why does Satan attack us with Firey darts or arrows? Becuase a flaming arrow does not need to hit it’s target EXACTLY, it just needs to get close enough for the fire to spread. And fire left unattended will become unmanagable!
A few years ago, I had some of those nice smelling candles lit in my house. A candle flame is no threat to us at all. In fact we cover cakes with them every birthday and blow the flames out.
But one of the candles had been knocked over and I didn’t know it. A few moments later the room was on fire.
