Una Noche De Navidad

ILUSTRACION:
Una noche de Navidad en el año 1944 en un campo de concentración alemán en Viena ocurrió algo verdaderamente extraño, misterioso.
El autor de esta historia cuenta que en aquella noche jamás se había podido sentir tanto abatimiento de espíritu, tanta soledad, tanta impotencia como las que los prisioneros sentían.
De pronto se oyó romper el silencio de la noche una voz de mujer procedente de una de las celdas al otro lado del patio.
Aquella mujer cantaba:
Noche de paz, noche de amor,
todo duerme en derredor,
entre los astros que esparcen su luz,
bella anunciando al niñito JESUS,
bella anunciando al niñito JESUS.
Dice el padre Fernié , uno de los prisioneros, que nunca en su vida una voz le pareció tan hermosa, tan dulce.
Otras voces femeninas se le unieron en su cántico y luego fueron los hombres.
Los guardias gritaron ¡Ruhe! ¡Silencio! pero al hacerlo no lo hicieron en el tono acostumbrado de crueldad en que vivían.
Todos siguieron cantando y los guardias no hicieron anda por impedirlo.
Aquella fue una noche maravillosa, buena y pacífica para todo el campo y aquella noche todos disfrutaron un sueño lleno de paz.
Esa noche la paz del pesebre de Belén volvió a llenar los corazones humildes y sufrientes.
El Padre Fernié ex-prisionero de guerra que relató esta experiencia comentó lo siguiente: "Jamás podré olvidar aquella voz y aquella experiencia tan grande y misteriosa".
La noche de la Navidad es una noche misteriosa.
