So Peter wants them to remember something that is very important, something we tend to forget: God’s timing is perfect! Amen? This can be hard for us to comprehend because we are the created and God is the Creator. The created can never fully understand the Creator. I have begun experimenting with baking gluten-free bread. When I bring that bread out of the oven, does it know me? I know what went into the making of the bread. I know all about that bread, but it does not know me.

“Ok, PJ – are you trying to say we are like bread?” No & Yes. We have a brain and human consciousness, but it is limited. God is all-knowing. That means there is no limit to His divine consciousness. Let’s be clear – God made you and me, we did not create ourselves: This truth is found all over the Bible:

Job 33:4 “The Spirit of God has made me,

And the breath of the Almighty gives me life.”

Psalm 139:14 “I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

Marvelous are Your works,

And that my soul knows very well.”
