A small church was growing very fast. Every Sunday, more and more people were coming to worship. But there was one big problem—there was no proper parking lot. Many people had to park far away and walk a long distance to the church.

The pastor and the church members started praying. They asked God to make a way for them to build a parking lot. But there was a mountain right next to the church, and there was no space to build on the other side.

Still, the pastor kept praying, “Lord, please make room for a parking lot. You can move mountains!”

Weeks went by. Nothing seemed to happen. But the pastor didn’t stop praying. He believed that God would answer.

Then one day, a construction company came to the church. They said, “We are building a road nearby. We need dirt and sand for the work. Can we take some soil from the mountain behind your church? In return, we’ll clear the area nicely.”

The pastor was amazed. That’s exactly what they needed!

The construction company removed a big part of the mountain and leveled the ground. Soon, the church had a large, clean space—just right for a parking lot!

The pastor smiled and said to the church, “Praise God! He answered our prayers. God really does move mountains!”

Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20.
