[086]. A MESSAGE FROM A POEM – FOR ALL CHRISTIANS - THE THREE Rs
There are 9 poems in this Trilogy series. This poem is part of a Trilogy - three sets of three. The first set is addressed to MEN, the second to ALL CHRISTIANS and the third is SPECIFIC. This is the second one in the second set - FOR ALL CHRISTIANS.
ALL these poems follow the same format as they address the subject. ALL poems have 5 stanzas – Introduction; 3 stanzas for the subject; and the last stanza sums up. All poems feature three words based on a letter in the Alphabet. This time the letter is “R”.
We have a great standing in God who has done great things for us and established us in the Lord Jesus Christ. Three marvellous states we are in are REDEMPTION, RECONCILIATION and RIGHTEOUSNESS.
All Christians need to know where they stand in the Lord and be certain of their salvation. Those “in Christ” possess the three “R” words through the grace of God.
REDEMPTION is being bought by the payment of something precious. The Christian is redeemed by the blood of the Lamb of God, and bought from the market of slavery to Satan now as a citizen of heaven.
RECONCILIATION is when two hostile or warring parties can be brought together and made one. God has done that for us by breaking down the barrier between us.
RIGHTEOUSNESS is the position all Christians have in Christ when they are brought into a right state in the eyes of God. We share Christ’s righteousness if we belong to Him.
{{Ephesians 1:7 “In Him we have REDEMPTION through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace “}}
{{Luke 1:68 “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel for He has visited us and accomplished REDEMPTION for His people,”}}
{{Romans 5:10-11 “If while we were enemies, we were RECONCILED to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been RECONCILED, we shall be saved by His life. Not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ through whom we have now received the RECONCILIATION.”}}
{{Romans 5:17-18 “If by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of RIGHTEOUSNESS will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. Then so as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of RIGHTEOUSNESS there resulted justification of life to all men,”}}

FOR ALL CHRISTIANS - THE THREE Rs
The grace of God has worked through love to shower blessings ‘round.
Among His works so generous, three Rs are richly found.
The greatest gift that ever was, is Christ, the blesséd Son.
Relationship with God we have, through the three Rs, was won.
===============================================
REDEMPTION through the Lamb’s shed blood, shows love at greatest cost.
Each precious soul was wandering; in sin’s slave market lost.
But the Redeemer bought each one, His blood the purchase price.
In freeing them, released them from sin’s deadly, wicked vice.
===============================================
Full RECONCILIATION gives a wonderful, new peace.
From separation, brought to God - new bonds that will not cease.
Estranged you were and drifting far with no hope of landfall -
But brought home now as sons of God, who’ve heard the Saviour’s call.
===============================================
The RIGHTEOUSNESS of God you are - O what an honoured state!
In filthy rags of putridness - to God, could not relate -
He clothed you with fine linen robes, His holiness to share.
Now children of the living God, His holy Name you bear.
===============================================
How humbled then you ought to be, that Christ has loved you so;
Redeemed and reconciled to God, His righteous ones to know.
In thankfulness you praise your Lord who did the Father’s will.
May every knee bow unto Him, and every tongue be still.

Gary Richmond, a former zookeeper, had this to say: Raccoons go through a glandular change at about 24 months. After that they often attack their owners. Since a 30-pound raccoon can be equal to a 100-pound dog in a scrap, I felt compelled to mention the change coming to a pet raccoon owned by a ...read more

Most of our adult lives are spent working. If a person works outside the home for eight hours a day and five days a week, then you work 2,080 hours a year. There are only 8,760 hours in a year, and if you spend the same amount of time sleeping as you do working, you only have 4,600 hours remaining. ...read more
