Fight Like A Man
Contributed by Dr. Larry Petton on Jul 13, 2023 (message contributor)
A man came to his pastor who had attended church for 25 years and was a respected, leader in the church, said, "Pastor, I've got something to tell you. I've never told this to a soul, extremely difficult to tell you this now, but my wife and I have had a fight every day for the past 30 years of our marriage."
The Pastor was taken back. He didn't know what to say to the man. Praying for time to gather thoughts, he said,
"Every day?"
"Yes, every day."
"Did you today before you came to church?"
"Yes."
"Well, how did it end up?"
"Pastor, she came crawling to me on her hands and knees."
"What did she say?"
The man put his head down and sheepishly said,
Come out from under that bed you coward and fight like a man!"

Thanksgiving
Contributed by Rodney V Johnson on Oct 3, 2020
This message explores the reasons we have to give God thanks. Our choice to give God thanks should not rest on Him doing something for us - but for what He has already done through His Son and what He continues to do.
