The choice shows two coaches recruiting a player to join their team. One seems like a good coach and is the obvious choice to play for. While the other seems not so great and the obvious choice not to play for. However they are really God and Satan recruiting you for their teams. So, whose team do you want to be on? What will you choose salvation or not? Heaven or Hell?

SUMMARY

In this video we see a person being recruited on a home visit from two coaches from two different schools. One coach is by the book but is really caring for his players. While the other is very just doesn’t care about his players and just lets them do what they want instead of really making them better people. As the recruiting process goes on, we see that this is really not an ordinary recruitment for just football. We see that it is really a recruitment from the devil and God.

We want to use this video to let the students realize that there is a choice to be made and it's an important one. It’s the choice between salvation or damnation. We also want them to know that not choosing is a choice also to not be saved which is choosing Satan over salvation also.

We want to use the video to point out what it really looks like to choose each one. For instance, in the video, the good recruiter which is God's team, says that joining means you will never be alone, that He will always be there to help you, He will never leave you or cut you, He promises heaven, He promises to make you into a better person, He promises to give you the playbook that gives answers to everything, and many more things. He also talks about His Son dying, meaning Jesus, and how He still won. He also tells how anyone can go there but they must choose to accept and follow Him and that the tuition has also been paid already. However, the other coach, who represents Satan's team, says you're on your own, if you can’t help me, I don’t want you, He promises a fiery place called Hell. He even alludes to how He is sneaky and conniving and is trying to turn the whole world to him through things like do what makes you happy, your choice, everything is a big party, and other things that deal with selfish desires to lure people to him even though he knows he can’t win and never will and really can offer you nothing and really represents evil, for instance he said his alumni was Freddy Krueger.

In the end, really use this to stress how much better choosing God is and what it gives us in return versus choosing Satan. We encourage you to even have time for an activity that allows each student to reflect on what choice they have made so far, whether they have already chosen God or Satan. Then let them know it is not too late to choose God if they want to. But give them the chance to be real with themselves, have them write it down and turn it in so you can pray for those that do not know God. You can have them leave names off if need be also. In the end we want them to know the need for God and know if they need to accept Him and how to accept Him.
