Jesus Walks On Water | Trust Him!
Shared on: Aug 7, 2023
One of the most repeated commandments that God gives is to not to be afraid. Instead, they must be courageous. Why does God always say this same thing over and over again to his people? Because we are fearful people! Even when Christ calls us to join him in his work, we still can shutter in terror. But, the important thing is trusting in Christ enough to follow and serve him in the areas he has called us to, regardless of how afraid we are. Peter was afraid and yet he asked Christ to call him out on the water with him. Yes, fear overcame him when he walked on the water with Christ, but it was his faithful Savior who grabbed him out of the water when he began to sink. Use this sermon collection to help bolster the faith of your congregation this Lord's Day.
