Burning Hearts | The Road To Emmaus
Shared on: Apr 17, 2023
The story of Jesus appearing to two disciples on the Emmaus road is an interesting account to say the least. Both Luke and Mark speak of how Jesus was kept from being recognized by these disciples so that they might truly see how Christ's crucifixion, death, and resurrection were all spoken of throughout the Old Testament. If this is the hermeneutic we are to use when we read our Bibles, this will help to transform the Old Testament where Jesus Christ is at the center of every book. Preach this powerful text this coming Lord's Day while utilizing the helps found in this sermon collection.
