Discipleship | Growing To Maturity

The New Testament is full of texts that show that discipleship is a process. Although, we all begin as infants in the faith, God's desire is that all of us will mature to the point that our lives reflect Christ more fully. What does a mature Christian look like? How does a person move from infancy to maturity in the spiritual life? Use this bundle to inspire and challenge followers of Jesus to continue to look and listen for ways the Holy Spirit is leading them towards spiritual maturity.

Donut Theology / Be Teleios

In Greek, the word translated "perfect" in Matthew is "teleios". " If something accomplishes what it is designed to do, it is said to be perfect that is "teleios" So "telios" is often translated as "mature". "Teleios" has the idea of "being complete."
