  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: I only hope that you derive some spiritual benefit from them. if you do then remember to give thanks to god for without him I can do absolutely nothing
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Haggai - many of the congregation really challenged by it and evidence of depper commitment to God after the series finished.

  • What my parents think of my sermons: My parents are not Christians
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She finds them bebficial (Mostly!!) She is an excellent critic.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Preach in such a way that people understand whatyou are talking about and remember that your first duty is to be faithful to God in expounding and applying his Word
  • Books that have had an impact: John Murray - Redemption Accomplished and applied. J.C.Ryle - Holiness John Owen - The mortification of Sin - Vol 6 in the series John Stott - The Cross of Christ A.A.Hoekema - Saved by Grace & The Bible and the Future
  • Hobbies: Enjoy playing golf, Working out in the Gym and recently have taken up running in training for a marathon (26.25 Miles!!!) I have just completed my first marathon (venue - Belfast. Time 3:38:11) not bad for a forty something preacher.
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Oh that i might be able to show you my saviour in all the beauty of his person and glory of his work.
  • What I want on my tombstone: Saved and kept by Sovereign Grace.
