About Kevin
  • Education: California State University Northridge (1996 Alumni) The Master's Seminary (1996 - 1998) Western Reform Seminary (2001)
  • Experience: Short Term Missions Youth Pastor Preacher Author
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: Read the outline, but seek to watch the video and here the message live on Youtube.
  • Sermon or series that made a difference: Let The Men Be Men, and Let the Women be Women - Chris Mueller
  • One of my favorite illustrations: Luke 16:19-31 - Jesus's Parable of The Rich Man and Lazarus.
  • Family: Presently, God has given me the gift of singleness, thus I have no spouse, nor children.
  • What my parents think of my sermons: My father is decease so he does not have an opinion. My mother has not made any comments as of yet.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: I have the gift of singleness, so at this point I have no spouse to make any comments.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: " I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: 2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction. ..." (2 Tim. 4:1-2) The Apostle Paul
  • Books that have had an impact: The Holy Bible - Old and New Testament J.C. Ryle - Thoughts For Young Men. Biographies of Moody, Spurgeon and Luther.
  • Hobbies: Writing Reading Singing/worship Art Physical Fitness
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Choose Christ because our entire existence depends on knowing him. Our time here on the earth is limited to 70 or 80 years, if we waste the time accumulating the worlds junk in the end we will regret it. We have to leave all that stuff behind which bogged us down during the course of our life time. Instead, we ought to do as Paul did lose all that the world offers and seek to know Jesus of the 1st century in the 21st century context. How do we do that? By walking with God, seeking him daily.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: On Easter Sunday 2015 a man rebuked me harshly and threw a cookie at me to eat.
  • What I want on my tombstone: Here lies the duck.
