About Gregory
  • Education: B.A. Accounting
  • Experience: Accepted the call to preach in the summer of 1998 during a revival at my church. I always know God had a call on my life, but I was content with just getting by. It wasn’t until the Lord showed me by vision that I was heading for destruction that I took heed to His voice. I’ve been growing in the Word of God every since.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: I just pray you’ll find something that will encourage you.
  • Family: I am married with 3 lovely girls
  • What my parents think of my sermons: My father (deceased) was a preacher, he heard me preach twice before he passed - he was proud. My mother still enjoys my sermons.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: When in doubt, Preach the gospels.
  • Books that have had an impact: Could you not tarry 1 hour? Larry Lea
  • Hobbies: I enjoy praise singing, spending time with the family, bowling, and sports.
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: No matter who you are, where you come from, what your past is, you have access to God's unmerited favor right now because of the finished work of Jesus Christ at the cross - beleive in Him and receive the free gift of salvation.
  • What I want on my tombstone: Well done thy good and faithful servant!

God empowers us to STAY up before He SHOWS up so that we don’t MESS up what He is SETTING up — and it all begins when we hold on to our faith.

Holding on To My Faith – Part 2 Romans 4:20-22 I hate to be the bearer of important news, but I think I should inform you and remind you—you will have to go through some things. You might be saved/sanctified/spirit-filled/speak in tongues/fire-baptized/anointed and appointed—but you are still ...read more

There is awesome power in forgiveness.

There is awesome power in forgiveness. I wonder how many people I'm speaking to right now who are angry? Who are you angry with? What did they do in your life? What did they say? What did they do? How did they put something on you that you can’t live with? And day by day you can't ...read more

Trials are a fact of living in this fallen world, so we all need to learn what God’s Word tells us about how to handle them. The problem is, the biblical approach to trials is just plain crazy!

Trials are a fact of living in this fallen world, so we all need to learn what God’s Word tells us about how to handle them. The problem is, the biblical approach to trials is just plain crazy! Paul says that he glories or rejoices in his tribulations. But it’s not just Paul. James says the same ...read more

We get weary sometimes in waiting for the promises of God to materialize. Our faith must have the right direction, because the results of our faith will always be determined by the direction of our faith.

Intro: So far in the last two weeks we have talked about the importance of our faith. We started our study back in Romans chapter 4 dealing with one of the most incredible examples of faith, Abraham. While looking at him we discovered in week 1 that our faith must have duration, because we get ...read more

We cannot depend on our good works to save us. We cannot depend on anything external to save our souls. Salvation is produced solely by faith.

Intro: These last few verses of chapter four teach us the truth that we cannot depend on keeping the Law to save us. We cannot depend on our good works to save us. We cannot depend on anything external to save our souls. Paul's point here, as it has been throughout this chapter is that ...read more
