About Dr. Ronnie
  • Education: Bachelor of Religious Education, Heritage Bible College Dunn, NC. Master of Divinity, Luther Rice University Lithonia, GA. Doctor of Ministry, Andersonville Theological Seminary, Camilla, GA
  • Experience: Called to preach in 1999. Called to Parkersburg Baptist Church in July 2000. Called to Thompson Creek Baptist Church April 2006.
  • Comment to those looking at my sermons: It is my sincere prayer that you will be blessed by what you see. I am not a good preacher by any means, but I strive to teach and preach the truth.
  • Family: Wife Heather Sons: Charlie and Paxton
  • What my parents think of my sermons: They are extremely supportive.
  • What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: My wife tells me what is on her mind. Most of which is ok.
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Preach what God lays on your heart, and never use the pulpit for a whipping post.
  • Hobbies: Reading, gardening
  • If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: GO--Christian’s need to be on the move, and not be stuck in the pew.
  • Something funny that happened while preaching: I was preaching during a Children's Dedication Service. While reciting Psalm 127:3, "Behold, the inheritance of the Lord, children, the reward of the fruit of the womb." instead of saying "fruit of the womb" I said, "fruit of the loom"; the congregation lost it! After recovering from this, the service went well. Some of the folks still remind me of this from time to time. I am glad that God has a sense of humor and so do the parents who were participating in the service that day.
  • What I want on my tombstone: Born out of fellowship, Died in Fellowship.
