• Best advice given to me about preaching: "Stand up! Speak up! Shut up! Sit down!" "No matter what message you preach, head for the cross."
• Books that have had an impact: Wiersbe’s "Be" series, Spurgeon’s works, Billy Graham’s books and sermons
• Hobbies: Fishing, reading, coin collecting
• If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: There’s only one hope for our world,and for every person in the world, and that is to know Jesus Christ as personal Savior, and to love Him supremely!
• Something funny that happened while preaching: Once, when I was preaching, I was using some notes in an old wooden country church. They had an oscelating fan, and I guess you know what happened! There went my notes down on the floor in front of me! I panicked, and said-"O.K. folks! Bow all bow your heads in prayer!!!!!! I went down and got my notes!!! One gentleman told me I did pretty good after I got my notes! On another occassion, a man lost his dentures and began to pray- "Lorrrrdddd, iffff Youuuu help me get my dentures back in-I’ll finish this prayer!"
• What I want on my tombstone: "He went up in the rapture!!!"
