(Ask seek and knock) Be perfectly sincere, even while sinning, ASK - Lord, please save me, I am sinning but I am sincere; please give me victory over this sin and save my soul no matter what it takes - I am not a good person but i am a good candidate - help me?- Test the Spirits
• One of my favorite illustrations: If you are not a missionary, you are a mission field. ASK is an acronym for -Ask Seek and Knock. If its not in the Bible its not for me. God did not die to give us a passport to sin. - Search scripture, and see what the God asked us to remember, ask yourself - did I forget, or is it just not important for me, or is it interfering with my culture and tradition, Why did God say - Remember? Is it important to God. If God said it, that settles it!-like the fruit in the garden-small 4 us but not God.
• Best advice given to me about preaching: Use your own preaching style, be yourself.
• If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Jesus gave His life for , made a way for you to be saved, He is preparing a place for you and He is coming back to show you His love. There is only one problem. If you don't ask Him to save you, He cannot help you! and God inhabits the praises of His people. Let the Bible interpret itself - line by line, precept on precept, here a little there a little. Never try do say - I think! The Word is not a matter of private interpretation!
