About Bobby
  • Education: Liberty University: BS in Religion Andersonville Theological Seminary: Bachelor of Ministry New England College of Business and Finance: ASBA in Management
  • Experience: Baring Baptist Church is my first church. As of January 2018, I've been pastoring here for 4 years. It's been my dream church since childhood because my father used to preach here. Before serving here, I served as a Deacon at Woodland Baptist Church in Baileyville, ME for 3 years. Prior to that, I served as a Chaplain Assistant in the United States Army, deploying with my unit to Iraq for 15 months. We were there to bring religious support to our troops.
  • Family: I have a beautiful wife named Sherri. She's the best pastor's wife a man could ask for! She is an excellent help meet, a very supportive and loving wife, and she's a great Christian! God truly blessed me more than I deserve with her. We have 5 wonderful children. Alan, Alex, Shaelyn, Aaron, and Leah, the oldest being 16 and the youngest being 2. They keep us busy, but they're great kids. I love my family and I'm so grateful God has given them to me!
  • Best advice given to me about preaching: Honor God and seek to please Him with every sermon!
  • Books that have had an impact: The Holy Bible A.W. Tozer "The Pursuit of God" John Bunyan "Pilgrim's Progress" William Gurnall "The Christian in Complete Armor"
  • Hobbies: Reading Historical Non-Fiction Books. Studying the Civil War.
