• Comment to those looking at my sermons: I pray that God speaks to you and uses you to speak to others because of what He has given me to say. These are not my words, but words inspired by the Holy Spirit. To God be the glory for the things He has done.
• Sermon or series that made a difference: Authentic Christian Behavior - Who Am I
• One of my favorite illustrations: There was a world famous gorilla fighter who had never lost a match. Even though he had wrestled gorillas that were several times his weight. He was asked what was his secret. He responded that most gorilla wrestlers only wrestle until they get tired - which causes them to loose. His secret was that wrestled until the gorilla got tired - it was at this point that he was able to prevail. This is true for us in our spiritual battle. We can't quit when we get tired, only when our enemy gets tired
• Family: Married for 30 plus years with two married daughters.
• What my parents think of my sermons: Neither lived long enough to hear me preach. If they can hear them from the balcony of heaven I am sure that they both are pleased.
• What my spouse (really) thinks of my sermons: She is transformed by them. She sees me as her pastor, as a man of God and not her husband as I stand to declare the word of God.
• Best advice given to me about preaching: Don't try to be something or someone that you are not. Prepare, but leave room for the Holy Spirit.

• If I could Preach one more time, I would say...: Jesus Christ is real. His Word is true. He is faithful to His word and nothing else really matters.
