D. in Philosophy of Religion from The North Carolina College of Theology and a Doctor of Ministry degree from The United Thelogical Seminary. He earned his Masters of Arts in Church Ministries and a Certificate in Urban Ministry from Saint Mary’s Seminary and University. They are the proud parents of two outstanding children: Alvin Jr., who has earned two Bachelor of Science degrees, Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, a Master of Business Administation degree, and a Juris Doctor degree; Adaria Kay has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications with a minor in Public Relations and a Master of Arts degree in Telecommunications.
