Jesus Appears to His Disciples
19On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said,
20After he said this, he showed them his hands and side. The disciples were overjoyed when they saw the Lord.
21Again Jesus said,

Jesus Appears to Thomas
24Now Thomas (also known as Didymus
25So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”
26A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said,
27Then he said to Thomas,
28Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”
29Then Jesus told him,

30Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book.
31But these are written that you may believe
Jesus and the Miraculous Catch of Fish
1Afterward Jesus appeared again to his disciples, by the Sea of Galilee.
3“I’m going out to fish,” Simon Peter told them, and they said, “We’ll go with you.” So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing.
4Early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore, but the disciples did not realize that it was Jesus.
5He called out to them,
6He said,
9When they landed, they saw a fire of burning coals there with fish on it, and some bread.
10Jesus said to them,
14This was now the third time Jesus appeared to his disciples after he was raised from the dead.
Jesus Reinstates Peter
15When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter,
16Again Jesus said,
17The third time he said to him,
19Jesus said this to indicate the kind of death by which Peter would glorify God. Then he said to him,
