Introduction-

Praise explodes stronghold and paves the path to victory.Acts 16 recounts the story of Paul and Silas in the Philippian jail. One sung a song and the other prayed a prayer. They did this because they understood how to get into the presence of God. Psalm 22:2-4 declares -- O my God, I cry in the daytime but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am silent. But thou art holy O thou that inhabitest the praises of Isreal. Our fathers trusted, and thou didst deliver them.-- Paul and Silas simply followed in their father’s footsteps. They began to praise God in their situation. The original meaning of the word praise, comes from the Hebrew word barak , which means to bless God. You ought to learn how to bless God in your situation. Because your victory is in your praise.

Isaiah 61:3 records -- To appoint into them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; -- Sometimes when you buy clothes you love them. But when the style goes out it is like do I really have to wear this? But Psalm 71:14 screams off of the pages -- But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more. -- Psalm 100:1 concurrs and says -- Make a joyfull noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. -- Meaning that when you’re creative and innovativein your praise it never dies. It is always lively.

When the Holy Spirit shines his light upon the text we find Judah in a tight spot.Genesis 24:34 teaches us that Judah means praise. This let’s me know that Satan is trying to kill your praise. Ammon, Moab, and MountSeur was trying to destroy, demolish, and devasteJudah. But the Bible says that the Lord was with them.

Every Christian can experience God’s power through praise. But how? I’m so glad you ask. By following the steps suggested in this text, you can add God’s super powers to our natural praise to receive supernatural praise power!

I. Seek the Lord II Chronicles 20:03

You know the devil is just a little slow. Because he doesn’t pay attention to historic information. Because when he starts trouble he overlooks that we run back to God. James 4:8 records -- Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.

You must understand that it is your right to ask God for our miracles. Matthew 7:7-8 says -- Ask and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock and the door will be opened unto you: for every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. -- It is good to know also Deuteronomy 4:29 -- Seek the Lord thy Godd, thou shalt find him... -- But we must not forget the later part of the verse which says -- if you seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. -- And Isaiah 55:6 declares to us and admnonishes us to -- Seek the Lord while he may be found. -- II Chronicles 7:14 screams of the parchment -- If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sins, and will heal our land. -- That let me know that after we seek God’s face, he is going to send the Word but it is up to you to...

II. Receive the Word II Chronicles 20:18

When you get the word Psalms 119:105 says it will be -- a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. And Isaiah 55:11 says that -- my word that goeth forth out of my mouth : it shall not return unto me void , but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.-- It shall do this because John 17:17 says -- Thy words is truth. -- The WORD is so good untill Jeremiah declared in 20:9 -- Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in hisname. But the word was in my heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones.

III. Praise God II Chronicles 20:22

That’s why you can praise God. Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in the sanctuarry: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpets : praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals. Let everything that hath breath praise ye the Lord. Make a joyfull noise unto the Lord all ye lands serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God : it is he that hath made us and not we ourselves; we are his people and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him and bless his name. For the Lord is good: his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to alll generations.
