Summary: There is none on this earth like our God who would find ways and means to strengthen His children and get them ready to face the battles of life!

Judges 7:11”…you shall hear what they say, and afterward your hands shall be strengthened to go down against the camp."

Friend, why are you worried about the project that you have to complete, the giants that you have to face at work, the mockers and scoffers that put you down and the doctor’s report that seem to haunt and daunt you? Why? Fear not! There is none on this earth like our God who would find ways and means to strengthen His children and get them ready to face the battles of life! I repeat NONE like HIM! He is simply adorable!

Gideon had to face a huge army of 135,000 Midianites! But told Gideon 300 men are enough! In other words He said: ‘I’m enough!’ This is for someone out there who is griping “I don’t have this and I don’t have that!” Now listen, God knew that Gideon was scared on the inside! Look what He does, He told Gideon to go down to the outposts of the armed men who were in the Midian camp in the night and there Gideon would hear them speak and he would be strengthened. When Gideon arrived at the spot, the army lay along the valley like locusts in abundance, and their camels were without number, as the sand that is on the seashore in abundance! Imagine! The sight of the huge army was enough to unnerve a person; just when Gideon eyes widened, God opened his ears to listen to a man speak of his dream. The man said that he saw a cake of barley bread tumbled into the camp of Midian and came to the tent and struck it so that it fell and turned it upside down; his comrade answered: "This is no other than the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel; God has given into his hand Midian and all the camp." Wow! Observe the words, “God has given into his hand!” Gideon felt energized and rejuvenated, he worshiped God and said to the camp of Israel the same words that God told him, "Arise, for the LORD has given the host of Midian into your hand."

Gideon needed reassurance that God supplied him in private, which Gideon received and went ahead with confidence in public, to face the enemy and stimulated his army to move against the colossal army with God on their side. Hurray! God whispered the right words to stir the faith of Gideon!

On the day we were submitting our papers for ‘School Recognition’ of our Abide School, we were depleted, drained out and strained on various issues. This was a mammoth process of documentation, writing, multiple photocopying and what not. It was done. The signatures were taken with seals. Almost when we were about to leave the office of the Educational officer, he said:” this is the first time in my experience that I am forwarding approval for ‘recognition’ of a NGO school and this is the first ‘free school’ that has reached this level of obtaining recognition from the Government.” He said it very lightly but it was like refreshing dew on our tired body! If my teenaged son needed encouragement, all I had to do was talk encouraging words about him to somebody loudly so that he hears:’ Josh is just an awesome Keyboard player and a hard worker!’ This is just enough for my son to roll his sleeves up and get to work! You shall hear!
