YOU JUST THINK YOU KNOW IT ALL
Proverbs 16
1The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.
2All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.
3Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
4The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
5Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
6By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
7When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
8Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.
9A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
(1) You got to get it form the right place
1The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.
God prepares our heart
God moves our heart and mind
God prepares our spirit
(2) We see ourselves as Mr. Good Guy
2All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.
In our eyes we see no wrong
We don’t see the dirt we have out there
We think we sweep it out and forgotten
No one sees it but us
(3) Remember you will give and account too
3Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
Do his works
Commit your ways
Open you mind for the leadership of the Lord
You will become stable
(4) God has it all
4The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
He is the creator of all things
Both good and evil
The Day of Judgment
These are all Gods
(5) Pride will eat you up
5Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.
Don’t get to proud
Abomination in the eyes of the Lord
Join hands now
He will punish you
(6) Have the best for free
6By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
7When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.
Mercy is of the Lord
Have fear God will bless you
Your enemies will learn to love you
You can have peace with God
(7) Great is our God
8Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.
9A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
A little of God goes along way
The riches are there for asking
Yet righteousness is all you need
Your heart may see the but God must direct your path and steps
