You Are Bad Enough To Be Saved

1 Tim 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

Think you are too far gone to be saved? Paul said he was the number one sinner. God saved him so you would know that there is hope for you. You cannot dig a hole too big for Him to reach down and pull you out! No Christian ever became a saint without being first a sinner. Even a saint has an issue that satan and his minions try to use to discourage and defeat them. Sometimes he succeeds, but they are always able to confess and come home. So can you.

Come to Him! Jesus is God in the flesh. He came so He could die for your and my sins and He rose to show the payment was made and acceptable to the Father. He lives at the right hand of the Father to pray for us, He intercedes because the devil is always accusing us before the throne. He is scars are the Defense's only plea needed. He is our High Priest.

Let Him save you and plead for you. He will give you the Holy Spirit to teach you His word from the Bible and in your heart. Believe in Him. Ask Him to take over your life and forgive your sins. He will make you a child of God.

Then find a good church that still believes the faith once delivered unto the saints. The Spirit will help you. Some tips are ask if they are Liberal or Conservative. If they say, liberal, stay away. If they believe Christ needs help to save you by some ritual or prayers or saints, leave. If they say Jesus and the devil are brothers, leave. If they say Jesus was a good man, but not really God, leave. if they say the Bible contains errors, leave. If they say they are digging truth out of the New Age manure pile, run.

I have walked into churches that had a name on the door I recognized and the Holy Spirit let me know I was not among brethren or in some way that place was not right. Be open and He will not lead you astray or allow you to be deceived, if you pay attention.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Seek truth and He will show it to you. Blessings to you as you seek His will and walk in it!
