Summary: TO EVERY ASSIGNMENT AND GIFTS THAT GOD GIVES US, WE ARE RESPONSIBLE OVER THEM AND WILL ACCOUNT FOR THEM

YOU ARE ACCOUNTABLE

MAIN TEXT: ROMANS 14:12

“So then each one of us will give an account of himself to God”.

Accountability means ethnics and governance; accountability is answerability, blame-worthiness, liability and the expectation of what is required.

We need to always keep in mind that one day we will stand before God Almighty and give an account of our life (Romans 14:12). Our everyday decision matters to God and to those we live with at home, school, or place of work etc.

Let each one test his own work and then his reason to boast in God alone and not in his. So then each of us will give an account of our activities to God.

Our performance matters to God from the day of creation; we can see that our God works with excellence. Genesis 1:25

God will hold every human being accountable in eternity for every thought, second lived, penny spent, deed and word spoken. In other words, those who are accountable to God are subject to His commandments and statutes and must of a necessity obey His directions as instructed by the Holy Spirit.

Accountability cuts across every area of ministry, “for the gift and calling of God are without repentance” (Romans 11:29). Are you a child of God? If you have been born again led of the Holy Spirit, we are accountable to God on how we use our gifts to God.
