Working Your Faith Series

Summary: How to make your faith effective; so that you won't be caught in the trap of unbelief. Your life can be full of the living experiences of God's Word. The scriptures will no longer become a story but a living testimony when you master the act of faith.
"That the communication of your faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus." (Philemon 1:6).
The Greek word for EFFECTUAL is ENERGEO: It means to be in active operation, to produce effects, or to be powerfully productive.
That means your faith can start producing effects in your life; you should notice changes occurring in your life, when your faith is ENERGEO.
NOTICE: "...your faith may become effectual (effective, active, productive) by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus" (Philemon 1:6)
That's the key- Right on point! Oh glory be to the Lord! Your faith can become productive, you can begin to experience amazing results in life by making your faith active and productive.
But the only way to do it is by "acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus"
For example, there are so many good things in you the scripture talks about.Lets look at (Ephesians 3:20), It states "Now to Him, who is able to do immeasurably, more than all we ask or think; according to his power that is at work within us".
NOTICE: "...according to his power that is at work within us" ( Eph. 3:20) We got something good there. It is "...his power within us". So therefore you begin to acknowledge his power within you. You now understand, it is not your ability that can change the circumstances but His power within you. Suddenly this truth energizes your faith, the stress is gone, you are no longer worrying about "where the help will come from" You know one good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
Another example is "Don't you realize that you are the temple of God, and that God's Spirit lives in you" (1 Cor. 3:16)
That's another good in you which is in Christ Jesus; The Holy Spirit, you begin to acknowledge his presence in you, you no longer go around feeling as though God has forsaken you. No! you now understand that His Spirit dwells in you.
When you face the storms of life, instead of crying out for help. You stand your ground and say "greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4). You now see that your faith is becoming stronger and active, it begins to produce results in your life.
acknowledging every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus, will get your faith active and efficient. It will become so clear that you are a living evidence of what the Word talks about.
All the fears and doubts will be no more. You will become strong and fervent in the Spirit. Nothing of this world can be a threat to you anymore.
Search the scriptures, let your eyes be enlightened; get to know what you have in Christ; Your authority, Your nature; Your position; Everything about the New life you now have in Christ. When you know it; your faith will begin to produce for you.
