"With Her Sons..."
Contributed by Winson Butler on May 2, 2005 (message contributor)
Summary: The key to being a successful Mother in todays world is influence, not authority. No where else is this best seen than in the encounter Jesus had with the mother of Zebedee’s boys. Let’s examine it together!

Introduction
Look back with me for a moment, what do you think the Mother’s of Yester-year would have said to their children if they were living today? e.g.
*Columbus’ Mother: "I don’t care what you discovered Chris, you still should have written your mother..."
*Jonah’s Mother: "That’s a nice story son, but tell me the truth, where have you’ve been for the last three days!"
We all must agree, regardless, Mom’s advice is always the best advice!
The story before us is an unusal one, it best describes the love a Mother has for her children. The length she’ll go for her kids. Jesus encountered this on one fine Judean day!
